93 K1500 Lift Kit Removal?

This truck has 4wd and a Pro Comp 6" lift. A friend purchased it and wants to take it down to stock height. The price was hard to pass up. Before the truck was purchased we contacted a well know shop to enquire about removing the lift and they said if it was a bracket type lift that it would be fairly easy to return to stock height. Me knowing jack all about lifts we asked the previous owner what type of lift it was and he said it was a bracket type. Of course we didn't think to look on the Pro Comp site where it states that it takes considerable work to return independent front suspension GM truck to stock height. So here we are. Is this even feasable to get done? Any advice on how to get this project done? Anyone in the San Diego/LA area want to trade the labor to remove the lift for the actual lift? The new owner has no use for the lift.
