2003 Grand Am GT Sunroof not closing

Hey guys and gals!

i just got me a pretty mint GT recently. The sunroof is stuck in the vent position. It'll open all the way, but it won't close from the vent postion. It runs smooth too, but it just WON'T CLOSE. I call GM and there isn't a manual crank to close it(retarded).

Any suggestions, comment or general fix it?

remove switch and connect white with orange to close it, limiting swithc could be also bad.
