Question 1998 Honda CRV AC High Pressure

AC stopped blowing cold. Thought a recharge might solve problem. Got a do it yourself kit . Pressure on low side was at 150. Is there a some type of regulator valve in the system? Any helpful hints to fix? Thanks

sounds like you need to have a shop recover the old refrigerant in the system, and have it recharged.

Thanks Down Ground. Pressure on the Low side should be around 30. You think a recovery of the system and recharge will solve problem? Thanks

there is a schrader valve to release the the pressure, how ever illegal..sounds like a recharge would fix it, short of the pump not doing its job..good luck
