The pics of the silver F1 on the previous page are new to me. I'd have to assume that is #062.

OK, had never seen them before, sorry for the repost.

On the silver, I suspected they may have been 055 or 074 ... but the mirrors are in the wrong location. Someone on FChat posted the link saying they thought some of the pictures were from RL's garage ... and there I went.

There are some pics from one Ralph's NY garages in that thread, but his F1s don't appear in any of them. All I saw were red cars.

Yes, lets not forget he rolled into Crystal Cove with it in 2005 one random morning when he had it in SoCal and was mobbed by people, then allowed the BMWCCA to display it a week later at the Monterey Historics. He's also had it on track at Laguna Seca on at least one occasion and probably Infineon too I'd imagine.

Given its historical significance as the car Tiff Needel drove in that famous Top Gear video... No wait, what I meant to say there - as the 4th F1 prototype, and 2nd earliest surviving F1 road car now - you'd really expect a lot of owners to keep it in a vault somewhere. Major kudos to him for using it on occasion as intended and, of course, sharing it with others.

Very nice picts! Found the second picture interesting; can't recall seeing too many engine bay picts where the headers and the alternator are visible (they always seem to be taken from a lower angle). And, lest I forget, the other pictures are quite nice as well!

I particularly like the headlamps in pictures 5 and 6 , although they do appear to be photos of the rear of the car...hhmm still nice headlamps though!
