Replacement parts 1998 Buick P.A.
Due to a collision with a deer, I'm in the need to replace various pieces of my non ultra 1998 Buick Park Ave. I have two Mustangs, a 1965 and a 1989 GT, and I know that for best fit from what I've read and noticed, is that good salvage yard parts or factory replacement parts are the best choice, and then selected aftermarket businesses as some make good pieces and some don't. What is your personal opinion on Buick parts? I'm going to look for good salvage yard parts in person or on EBay or use GM replacement parts. As cost is an issue I want to use GM as a last resort and am willing to look at aftermarket pieces. What's your thoughts for fit/finish issues if you have done this? Are there Businesses I should avoid? The type of pieces that I will need replaced will be hood, radiator, A/C condensor radiator, upper radiator support(obviously a body shop job), grille, headlights, and quite possibly the windshield that has the HUD and rain sensor features. We want to keep this car on the road as long as possible as its in very good condition. Thanks for any thougts on this and I will keep an open mind on your answers.

Re: Replacement parts 1998 Buick P.A.
At times I like to frequent the LKQ yards, you never know what you may find there... But your local yards may be good to.. Its possible you could find what you need in good shape for cheap.. Ebay parts mat be sub standard... GM Parts will be expensive..
Also check Rock Auto, sometimes they will have some of those parts you are looking for... |

I know Cincinnati has a couple of pull your own parts yards that advertise. Only problem is most cars are damaged in the front from accidents, and that front area is where you're wanting to get parts. Good luck. Tell us what you end up doing. |
