Only 14 States care about Auto Emissions test, but everyone wants a drug test!

I like using an external PCV system, so my stuff don't get contaminated with oil !

I gave up trying to figure out the "powers that be", but divesting the populace from it's hard earned money is always part of their decision making! It's all about indirect taxation. Fines, Fees, licensing, permits, tickets! Everybody knows running a red light is not good and deserves some penalty, but $468. in CA? That's more than some peolpe make in a week. $48. if your car doesn't start on street sweeping day. My city writes 40k in parking tickets a day. I guess they think letting everybody smoke pot, keeps us from revolting or at least putting it off till tomorrow. Anyway, how does an external PVC system work?

Re: Lack of bank 1 O2 Transitions

Picture the Pcv system, the valve cover to the Air duct work going to throttle body.

1) Pull the PCV valve, and tubing off.
2) Block the port on the air duct work, were the PCV tubing was connected.
You don't want unmetered air leaks to confuse the ECU/PCU.
3) Any local Auto parts store should have a external filter for the PCV valve in the proformance section.
4) Mount the filter on the PCV valve, and plug the PCV valve back into the valve cover.
