2000 2 door blazer HVAC/4x4 selector

My blazer has no power to the climate control center or the 4x4 selector system. The blower motor does not work, the duct selector does not work and the 4x4 switch system has no light indicating what position the t-case is in. It does not engage the 4x4 either. Both HVAC fuses in the cab and under the hood are good. The problem started when a wire for added driving lights was run to the fuse panel in the cab and hooked into the HVAC fuse area, the wire became pinched and grounded out causing the problem. Please help, I use this truck to plow snow and I need it! Thanks alot.

Did you check both sides of all fuses in both fuse panels with a test light / voltmeter?

I tested each fuse individually in both fuse boxes. I pulled the dash apart looking for a fuseable link also but i cant find one. I also noticed that the gas guage doesnt register now either.

But as Old master said did you check for 12 volts on both side of all fuses to it?

Re: 2000 2 door blazer HVAC/4x4 selector

I have found the problem thanks to Old Master. The Orange power feed wire to the fuse block was burned clean through. Bad part is that it was burned in behind the instrument cluster. Tough repair in a tight space but all is well. Thanks again.
