Cool 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 (Crazy Gauges and Test light)

Hello,

Have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 V-6, 3.7 ltr. It has started acting very strange!! Some times when I start it the gauge test light work and sometimes they don't, sometimes they stay on. Also, my headlights and taillights are intermitent. I have notice if I jiggle the key switch that everything works for a while. Someone told me I have a faulty headlight switch, but I think It could be the key switch on the steering unit. How do I locate the problem??

Thanks ellis479

Yes you are right the problem is definitely in the steering unit. I have face same problem, I had also thought that the problem is in the switch so i replace the switch but it does not work, then i check my steering unit where i got the problem.
