2006 Silverado headlight switch wire diagram?

Trying to wire some roof lights into my dad's headlight switch but idk which wire in the switch harness to tie them into. Any help please?

Might be best to wire them up on a seperate switch.
Parts places have switches and brackets that work good for stuff like that.

to do this properly you will need a relay...the switch should be fed from the fuse block..when the relay is energized the relay contacts will turn on the other aftermarket lights..

the dash switch controls the headlight relay...I would not screw with this in any way...
