Key wont turn in ignition but makes the beeping noise
My key wont seem to turn over the car. It makes the beeping noise when its in the ignition but I cant turn it over or back. The wheel is locked but I can shift into all gears? Could a tumbler be off in the ignition? or is it the steering column? any help would be great!

Is the steering wheel locked into position? You might need to turn the steering wheel a little bit to unlock the ignition.

If the key doesn ot turn then the ignition key lock cylinder is probably bad, a tumbler may be bad or the tumblers could be full of gunk (maybe some WD-40 in the key hole). On my '98, I bit the bullet and replaced the lock cylindereasy to do) and then had the new one re-keyed. This did solve my problem.
