can the rims of newer 7 series fit on a 94 e32 740 and if so which ones would fit without having to do modifications

Re: upgrading older 740il

Hi,

the bolt circles of E23, E32 and E38 are the same (120/5 - 72,6 with bolts M12x1,5)
The E65 (from 2002) has the same bolt circle, but other bolts M14x1,5

Anyway, the measurements of the ET (rim offset) are for sure different.

Re: upgrading older 740il

If you are going with the 99-01 E38 740 Sport rims they will fit right up just like it does on the E38 but on the E32. They are 18-inch M Parallel Spoke wheels 18x8 235/50ZR-18 front, 18x9.5 255/45ZR-18 rear I think these would be a great choice. The stock 15-16 alloy wheels aren't worth spending the money for new tires. Time to upgrade to today’s standards and increase your bimmers handling and looks.
