i have a turbo automatic civic ex....you can do it...its not a problem, but im gonna be swapping out in the spring for a 5 speed....launches suck with auto since you have a bit of lag off the start...a neutral drop works alright but your tranny will drop one day when you do it...haha....its much better with a 5 speed when you drop gears or wanna stay in vtec with the turbo, but to answer your question...yeah....turbo+auto works fine, maybe wanna get a torque convertor in your tranny cuz honda auto trannies suck cuz they're supposed to be economical you know?...

I've heard of nothing of the sort in Honda's realm, I guess because nobody cares to put forced induction into a car not really designed for performance anyway.
I'm not sure how much you care, but Saab's newer lines feature many automatics with turbochargers, and I have seen people build up these cars for racing, despite the general [sillyness] of racing sport/luxury (overpriced) sedans and hatchbacks

But back then it was the "virgin" that caught people's attention. It's not every day a virgin conceives and bears a son. So you keep that for a couple of hundred years, and the nexy thing you know, you have the Roman Catholic church. -Snatch |

Where is a good place to get a torque converter? With your turbo auto can you run the same boost as a 5 speed or do you have to sacrifice some things for it. my main focus i yes to get more power and evencially i will get a 5 speed but for now i really just want something that can be reliable because i don't plan racing my car or doing any harsh driving that could mess it up. i planed to go with the DRAG Gen 3 kit for my B18B but i still want my integ to be a reliable daily driver.

Also, as long as you are running boost pounds at a safe-for-stock rate, you should be alright, this means like...no more than 9 until you start spending fuel system $$

As far as launching an AT well with out doing a neutral drop, try holding the brake as hard as you can with your left foot and then floor the throttle until the engine levels out (usually around 2500rpm). Then side step your foot off the brake (like dropping the cluthc in an MT). This method will get you the best start out of an AT. You can put a turbo on any setup (almost) regardless of whether auto or manual.
