Fuel leak in the engine compartment

I have a 2001 gp gt and for the past two days I noticed it began smelling like gas when the car was on. Checked under the hood today and found that there was there was a fuel leak where the fuel line connects to the fuel rail, the connection has upwards and downward play of about a centimeter and i'm no expert but that's probably the problem. I do not however know how to disconect it and was wondering if anyone that has had a similar problem in the past might know of it is a bad o ring or something or if the connection itself is to blame?

You can replace the o-rings inside the connector. You should use a fuel line disconnect tool. Try to get it fixed as soon as possible since the condition could cause an engine fire.

Do you have a procedure to replace the o rings and a source?

For a serious issue like this I would

a) not drive the car any more until the parts are replaced and the leak resolved
b) don't screw around trying to save a buck, I personally would just get the dealer parts no matter what the cost.
c) the fuel-line disconnect tool is available at any "chain" auto parts store.
