1960 Triumph TRS

I modified a Finnish Airtrax Triumph TR4 1/24 scale resin transkit to build this rare Triumph race car. Window frame and many small details are PE parts from my own design. Gunze TR2 Le Mans kit was used as a donor kit. My patterns were used to cast copies in resin, from which this model is actually built. I haven't found correct numbers yet, but maybe someday...

Looks great.

I read about your wheels earlier, good job, and the cover looks realistic too.

Lovely subject Niko!

Could you PM me some contact details to Airtrax?

Re: 1960 Triumph TRS

Wow, I have never seen one of these racing Triumph's before, it looks fantastic! Sort of like a cross between a Triumph Spitfire and TR4!

Re: 1960 Triumph TRS

Thanks guys.

These were really rare cars at the time. Only four were ever built. They raced at 1960 and 1961 Le Mans with some success and also some other races. Finding reference is quite hard also, google Triumph TRS and you'll find a lot of information about all Triumph TR's but not a that much from TRS.

-> Klutz - PM sent
