It appears that the Nobel gang has once again devalued the intention of this award and it now has about the same meaning as the prize in a box of Cracker Jacks! Thats really good news, maybe we can make some progress before the feds sign binding treaties and the like that we couldn't back out of.

His whole argument of global warming has been proven wrong anyway. CO2 lags behind Temperature by 800 years, to CO2 is dependent on temp. not the other way around.

What are you talking about? All you Ostriches that say Climate Change isn't real are just closing your eyes and thinking of the next dollar to make, to hell with the planet. And if it was just your planet you were ruining I'd be fine with it - I'd love to park an H2 in your garage and leave it running so you can say "emissions don't matter! Look, it's fine in here...ahem...gasp.." oh wait, this stuff IS toxic! But unfortunately you're ruining my planet, and the planet for generations to come, to which I take great offense, as do millions of other people.

The United Nations and the IPCC (Ingergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - i.e. representatives from around the world) published in 2007 that climate change is fundamentally and scientifically factual with repeatable and demonstratable physical evidence, and that the cause of such warming trends is likely caused by human activity. Just recently your own government has declared that C02 is a toxic substance and therefore the EPA can pass regulation as it sees fit.

In the end the environment will outlast humans, so beating up on the planet will really only affect you and me. For those that choose to deny the facts are really only shooting themselves in the foot, mother nature would be just as happy without us building highways and tearing down forests. My point is, even if it takes some effort on our part, I'd like to stay for a while - I quite like it here. What we have is not sustainable, that should be plainly obvious and the longer we march blindly forward the harder the fall when the party ends. But we need innovators and brilliant minds to be working on ways to generate sustainable power, housing, food, transportation, etc. The world already knows there is a problem, the solution gets a little more complicated.

CO2 is NOT pollution!! Never has been....never will. If a 10,000 seat stadium were the air......4 of those seats would be CO2. Purty danged insignificant there, Cletus!

Climate may be changing....but it does so in cycles. We are really in the COOLING portion of the cycle right now.

CO2 in extreme amounts is poisonous to Humans because its waste our bodies give off while performing cellular respiration. Guess what plants use? CO2 is one of the BASIC BUILDING BLOCK OF LIFE. Its NOT toxic. Am I saying we should all go out and put off as much CO2 as possible? Hell no, I kinda like my smooth air. But we don't need to spend BILLIONS of $ bullshitting people into crap they don't need.

And just to shake your little skull a tad. During the last, about 10,000 years give or take. The world has been in a warm phase. Guess what comes after that? Yea thats right, it gets really frekin cold. Bottom line, the world goes through climactical changes on a consistent pattern. Humans don't do a damn thing to change that.
