That is done by the fuel pressure regulater, which is mecanically operated, not done through electronics. There is no such sensor on the 3800II motors.

Hey I just watched your video, and I had the same exact problem on my mustang gt about a year ago.. It would stall out/sputter and die after starting up, and it looks like in the video you are able to keep the engine running by keeping your foot on the gas and when you take it off it stalls? Same way with mine.. It was the Idle air control valve. That fixed my mustang right up... the new one was 50 dollars for the mustang, but don't know how much for the grand prix it would be.. Don't know if you've already eliminated that or not, but I read through the posts and nobody suggested that yet.. They get clogged up with soot or something, if the air/fuel mixture is not great, or if the engine burns a little oil (mine did).. I'd take it off and see if it is black on the inside, just to be sure. But watching your video it reminded me exactly the problem I had.
