My 2001 Dodge Neon SE recently died on me out of the blue on the road. I luckily stalled near an Advance Auto Parts store. The clerk came out and seemed to be fairly knowledgable. After trying a few things, he realized the problem was that the engine wasnt getting fuel. He sprayed starter fluid in the air filter and it would run briefly. He thought it may be the fuel pump. I check the fuel pump later and it appeared to be fine. I then checked the Schrader Valve and gasoline was spitting out. So I'm wondering if the problem is within my fuel injection or wiring maybe? I would like to have a general idea of cost before towing it to a mechanic. Please Help!

Re: Dodge Neon Fuel Prob Please Help
You need to find out how much fuel pressure you have before you go any further. If fuel pressure is low than there is no need to proceed down other paths until fuel pressure is resolved.

Re: Dodge Neon Fuel Prob Please Help
1) Check for fuel at the fuel rail.
2) Check the Fuel pump fuse + relay 3) Check the electric fuel pump reset. |

Re: Dodge Neon Fuel Prob Please Help
