whirling noise from pass side of engine

not sure what it is , a/c pump works but leaks oil , etc car doen't over heat and its a 1996 i30 . any ideas what it is

Whats down there: Loose or bad belt, pwr steering pump, alternator, water pump.

Check in that order. Noise (bad bearing etc) can be located with a stethoscope; buy one from car accessory shop, maybe 10$ ...

Hmm. This started after getting new belt(s)?

...if so, then:
- belt is the noisy part; only replacement to another brand name helps
- its too tight. Try loosening a bit

With that mileage its hi time for some bearings to fail. Decide how long youre gonna live with this car. Then check out the vehicle and figure out all new parts needed for that 'trip': alt, A/C compressor, pwr steering pump, waterpump, shocks, exhaust, rust etc.... Calculate if all is worth for those years you plan to keep it. Next buy the parts or swap the car for another one... btw, excel sheet here is a wonderful tool.

it's the a/c pump, when i turn the pump on it stops, guess it's time to swap out the bearing or spray some wd-40 etc on the bearing, car was driven thru a clay and sand pit sooooooo, damn, but thanks for the help
