02 F-150 dome/hood light

I have a 02 ford f150 v6 4.2liter and been having this issue for a while. The issue is that the hood light and the dome light will not switch on. The regular dome light turns on when I open the door but the 2 with the on/off switch will not turn on. I tested it all with a volts meter and there is no power. I did test voltage before the switches if anybody is wondering. The bulbs are brand new. I checked all the fuses for lighting in the truck. Is there anybody with this problem or some input on solving this? I know it not a major problem, but I would like them working.
