Parking Brake Not Holding

OK, I have a 1998 Grand Prix that I'm having problems with the Parking Brakes. Here's a little history.
1). New front and rear Brake pads.
2). Bleeded the system.
3). Rotor checked and serviceable.

Now here's my problem. Parking Brake works great stoping the car for moving forward. But in reverse, it doesn't hold all that great. Is there a adjustment on the Parking brake system that can be done to fix the moving in reverse? I found one of the Parking Brake adjusters on the passenger rear wheel. If thats the only adjuster. What is the adjust spec's / procedures for it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you referring to the internal star adjuster under the top hat rotor?

So what your saying is, that if I remove the rear rotor. I'll find another set of brake pads for the parking brake system? This sounds something like the Corvett's brake system. I'll take a look at it this weekend. Thanks.

Re: Parking Brake Not Holding

Also to consider...the brakes work better going forward by design...more or less the rotation causes the shoes to "dig" better one way....

I don't pay a lot of attention to mine. The parking pawl works great!

That is correct. Shaped like a "C" or horseshoe. PITA to replace too so hopefully the adjusters do the trick.

Thanks for the headsup on the PITA. I'll just have to change them cause its my girl friends car and she drove it to the store with the E-Brakes on.
