Re: Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Well folks its finaly finished, after much frustration & years of work, my first transkit is complete.

Windscreen with photoetched wipers

Body meets chassis

Looks pretty mean with FXX wheels

Complete

Im glad it finished, i had quite a few problems with final fit, i ended up chipping some paint off part of the window opening, i ended up with 0.3mm thick of paint, theres a lession folks, sand the primers down around openings.

Re: Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Thanks Nizmo,
Ive had that mat for years, im pretty sure my mum gave it to me, she got it from a patchworking / quilting store. I would suggest that or a fabric store, craft store. Its about A3 size 300 x 450mm ish. I use a 5m x 1.2m mat at work that also has the grids, so i guess they come in different sizes!!
