1992 oil gauge help

i give my 92 grand prix a oil change and before i did it, my oil guage worked but after the oil change it stopped working. would anybody know why or what i could check?

the sensor is right above the oil filter, double check to see if it came unplugged.

i found it the oil sending unit is broke. i found out the hard way taht u cant drive the car without a sending unit. drove home, not far enough to casue damage as i did a oil change right before. i got a oil sending unit socket to get it out. whats the best approach to getting it out? what do i do first
?

take the oil filter back off if needed for clearance, and go at it from underneath. Should be a piece of cake.
