check engine light is coming on and off ,honda accord 2000

Hi,
I have 2000 Honda Accord ex v6 with 87K miles on it.
The problem check engine light is coming on and off.check engine light was on for a week,The light goes off for one day when I fill the gas.
Check engine light came back on today morning,when I stopped my car to park from D4.
Other problem noticed is - the car gives jerk when I try to accelerate from stop.
i have tried so far,
changed engine oi.lchecked transmission fluid level at Jeffie Lube - it was reported to be normal.
checked the code for Check Engine Light at Autozone - it generated P0780 code.

Is this the code that comes up when the teflon coating starts coming off the torque converter and plugging up the shift solenoid screens?
