95 Grand Am Alternator?

95 3.1 approx 128K. I noticed that when I'm at a stop light with the signal on the lights dim and the blinker slows down some. When I hit the accelerator blinker speeds up. Same thing with wipers....anyway.

Tonight the battery light comes on. I'm thinking it's probably the alternator. the battery was replaced in May.

Am I on the correct path? How difficult is it to change? I've read threads about the tensioner etc. but it looks pretty straight forward. If anyone has any hints/advise I sure would appreciate it. Thanks.
