96 PA climate control issue

Hey guys! Newbie here, but a long time "lurker". I've received some great advice and tips from this site. This thread has helped me troubleshoot the same problems mentioned above, but I would like to know how to proceed beyond the test that HotZ28 posted at the end. My system did just as expected, but when I shut off the car and restarted it, the system went back to its evil ways. What is the problem? Do I need to try some more things to get the system working properly? Thanks for all your guys help!

Have you already tried resetting the system?

Hey ZiggyPA! If you mean disconnecting the battery - yes. I don't know much more about how this system works other than what I have found here. If the actuator is bad, will the door still open and close like I witnessed?
