thank you..yes i noticed the little bit on the front grill..and no i dont air brush..modelling cars is a on-off thing..so it'll be kinda expensive for me to buy one..probably next time when i decide to pick up this hobby more regularly..anyway..some updates..the dash board..

goin to use this cd thingy for the cd player..

changed the pedals to photoetch as the brake pedal was way off to the left.. i had to cut a little line so that the cd can fit in without falling off easily..

like this..

putting it all together..

still waiting for the damn flocking thingy..well..guess i'll be stuck here for the moment..

Re: Daihatsu Copen Euro Tec

A little update guys..
added minor detail to the dash board..

masking the roof..

adding clear paint to the sides so it doesnt leak to the transparent area

patching up a little dent at the bottom of the roof..

waiting for it to dry to paint window panels and polishing

now i'm gonna cut a part of a spare roof and fit it behind the seats..its where the roof folds into when you open the top..the kit came with a cover but i dont know why the real car doesnt have one..so i'm not gonna use the cover...

snapped the darn thing into 3 pieces..

sanding down the glued lines

put some putty after priming to see the lines clearly..

reinforce with more styrene..

all looks well

now waiting for the paint to dry so i can polish and do the window trimmings..

Re: Daihatsu Copen Euro Tec

update update..made bigger exhausts..the box stock ones were too small..fyi..i didnt really bother abt the bottom of the car..so as long as it looks alright from the outside i'm fine with it..using straw and styrene with electrical tape..

wrap the styrene till it fits the straw

something like that..

and how it looks from the outside..

"roof" when open top done..

comments welcome..=)
