Those are proposals to measure the market reaction, unlike the FW14B kit, which has been decided to go on sale next spring.

I've seen more than a handful of people asking for the Prius (since the release of the 2nd gen), so I think it's reasonable. After all, it briefly out-sold Japan's best selling vehicle (Suzuki Wagon R), which is very unusual, because the top five are usually dominated by the light-weight Kei segment cars.

On the other hand, I think the HS will be a complete waste of money and time, and I hope Fujimi received tons of negative reaction, so the plan will be scrapped. If they have money to do the HS, they should just keep it for a future project, or spend more money on research, so they can release more accurate F1 kits.

While I like all Subaru vehicles, I don't think the current gen Impreza will sell at all. The Impreza must be determined to be less attractive than the Odyssey or Cube that Fujimi is going to release, which is sad to say the least.

What's the story with the 935K3's? New kit? What scale? I can't read Japanese.

I think a Prius model would be kind of cool...I've caught grief from Veyron several times when I said I wanted a model of a Prius

Why do I like it? I guess it's the shape of the car...it looks futuristic & fast (even though it's slow), and I could have some fun with it (more fun w/a model than the real car). Throw in a Mabuchi motor and a couple batteries and it's a replica!

As for the HS...no. No need to model something that looks like a tarted-up Corolla. At least the Prius has a more futuristic shape. The HS would truly be a waste of good tooling $$.

If they made a new STI model I'd build one...but not sure if they can sell more of that than a Prius or Cube. The model car world just isn't what it once was.

To heck with the prius. If its a choice between hybrids only, give me a Honda Insight any day. The new gen prius is even more hideous. How that's possible it got uglier from the previous gen I have no idea.

It makes sense to make every day "non-sports" cars. Tons of people want mini versions of their cars to go with their lifestyle, especially in Japan.
