Re: sudden low idle
Alright, got the new IAC in today and it runs like a champ. But on the old ISC there was alot of carbon, like it was in the exhaust. It this normal? or should i be worried...
Also, what is the black thing bolted on the front of the throttle body? what does it do? I removed it before realizing that it was adjustable and noting its position. |

Re: sudden low idle
My 94 is doing the same thing. It will idle just fine when starting be after a few minutes it drops down to around 400 and holds steady. It hasn't died on me but it is really close. Do you know if there is a way to check the IAC? I don't think that is my problem I am thinking I have a bad vacuum leak somewhere. Any help would be great.
Thanks, |

Re: sudden low idle
I think this is the first time I've posted that here, but I keep it handy since it comes up often. Good luck and be sure to post up the results.
