pug gap???35 or 45??? 4 a 95 lumina apv with a 3.1

what is the proper spark pulg gap for a 1995 with a 3.1?? just bought this van and pulled out the AC plugs that were gapped at 35 and looked new, installed a set of autolite platnum plugs and gapped them at 45 like it says in the haynes manual,,now i have a miss at idle and a slight stumble comming off idle..it did have a slight miss at idle with the ACplugs but now its worse and the added stumble off idle,,the wires, cap and rotor look good.nice blue spark.looked for vacuum leaks and did not find any.it runs good once it gets past the stumble......thanks

Look on the emissions label and should say on there.General rule is to check the gap on new plugs, the gaps get crushed when shipped by truck when moving in the box

The proper gap is .045... You may have other issues you might need to look into.. as well go back and try a set of AC Delco Plugs.. When was the last time the Wires were replaced? Looking good doesn't mean that they are good.. If the van has never had a cap and rotor it may not be a bad idea to replace those as well..
