wiring problem

Hello
I have a 94 lumina apv 3.8. The a/c heater, power windows did not work, anti lock brake light was on,trans did not shift, cooling fans did not work.
I have no voltage to the ac fuse in fuse block. I have checked all fuses even with a ohm meter, all checked good.
I can run a power wire to the low blower a/c relay and every thing works fine, so im asumming i am back feeding power to all that doesnt work.I am also asumming there is another fuse or maybe a fusable link that powers all that does not work.
My question is where i might find this fuse or fusable link.
Any help is appeciated. Thanks

Re: wiring problem

there are a couple of fusible links that come off from the starter. Two of those are responsible for supplying power to the cooling fans. Wouldn't be a bad idea to check the continuity of those.

Re: wiring problem

There are several relays and breakers in the convenience center...behind/below glove box.

Re: wiring problem

Thanks to Airjer and lmp for thier help.
From the schematic I have no power on the orange wire in the run position. I have power to all others. The orange wire feeds power to abs, ign,Rear blower and heater a/c fuses.
Im pretty sure the ignition switch is bad.
The air bag is in the steering wheel, what do i have to be carefull of to not set it off. Do i need any special tools?
thanks

Re: wiring problem

THe ignition switch is actually lower on the steering column, and I think you do not have to play with the upper section. Check for pinched or damaged wires.
Here is a diagram from '93...that had no crash bag .
www.avigex.ca/xport/steeringcolumn.jpg
ignition switch is #43, and it is acted on by lever # 21 ,
#42 is dimmer switch
