Re: MkIII golf "for sale"
Sawblades! A friend of mine has them on his 1:1 Golf and they look pretty good.
Nice work, but I notice the wheels are facing a different direction in some of the pictures. |

Re: MkIII golf "for sale"
Thanks for the comments guys. my buddy has a Mk4 with these same rims on it and it looks awesome. the first 2 pics were a test fit all of the outside pics are of the finished car if you notice I didn't have any mirrors on the car in the pic you are referring to and I put lower profile tires on the wheels too I lost the for sale sign on the day I took the pics and later found it in my driveway.

Re: MkIII golf "for sale"
You forgot to paint the window trim. I like it, some minor details would make it stand out even more. Like using a sharpie or gundam marker around the headlight lenses. What i do is tape or use silly putty. Put the head light on it, and then go around the lense. Really makes it so much better. Either way i love seeing golfs. Thanks for sharing.
BTW I love the for sale sign, is it a decal? How did you make it, just scale it down and print it? |

Re: MkIII golf "for sale"
thanks for the tips. I have been looking for a local supplier of gundam markers I need a fine line and some larger ones but so far no luck. I've tried useing a sharpie before but it always has a purple tint to it and I dont like the way that it looks. Might try the silly putty trick though. When I do find a gundam marker I have a lot of touch up to do on most of my cars
As for the sign it is from a Hot Wheels For Sale car. I got a VW bus that was all ratted out and it came on the pack I just cut it out and stuck it to the window |
