Speakers quit working at times
Can somebody tell me why my speakers quit working while I am driving? The radio will still be on & I can hear some popping in the speakers but then they may start working again.

Re: Speakers quit working at times
if uve never messed with the speakers or head unit, the loose wiring seems unlikely, tho the symptoms suggest thats what it is. take out the head unit and be sure no wires comeing from the harness are messed up or loose in the harness. it could also be your head unit starting to go. the nest step would be to look at the wires behind all the speakers. now that i think of it, if its all the speakers doing it at once then its ur head unit going out, considering they all have seperate positive and neg connectors. maybe if u can have a friend lend u an aftermarket one that u no is working good u can start to troubleshoot it.
