98 Windstar wheels & tires on 99 Cavalier

I'm thinking of putting on my 98 Windstar wheels and tires on my 99 Cavalier. With some research I found out the bolt patterns for the windstar are 5x108, and the hub size is 63.9mm. The bolt pattern for the Cavalier is 5x100, and the hub size is 57.1mm. I have no idea what all this means. Please reply and let me know if what i am thinking of is do-able, and what issues I might run into, and the possible solutions to those issues. Thanks all for all your terrific input on this matter.

BTW: I should mention that the Windstar tires are 215/70/15 and the factory tires for the Cavalier are 195/65/15.

What that means is the lug bolt circle diameter and the center hub hole is bigger on the Windstar wheels. Even if you could get the Windstar wheels to physically to fit on the Cavalier, it would not be a proper fit.

These Windstar tires are quite a bit taller than your Cav's and it's going to raise your ride height. The wheel offset might be different too which will also alter your steering scrub radius. Bottom line is I would not put those wheels and tires on a Cavalier.

Manicmechanix: Thanks to you I now know not to try this. And, other future readers of this thread will be educated on the matter too. Thanks again!
