Jaguar 4.0L and Lincoln 3.9L
Many parts are the same for the 4.0L jag and the 3.9L lincoln LS
My question is... can the head and piston from the 3.9 be used on the 4.0L? can I take a 3.9 piston and put it on the 4.0? Ford / Lincoln 3.9 bore is the same and the stroke is 1mm shorter... Does that make the piston the same? and the rod different? or do they use different head gaskets for the 1mm difference?
