2001 PK Ave radio & temp control

My stock radio started eating tapes so I have a new one to install, and the temp control unit lights started to fade out so I got one of those too.

Question is how do you remove the wood trim and the plastic bezel to get to the bolts?

Thanks,
BPA

PS: I now have a CEL code P0440

Here's a thread where the procedure is described. It's not too bad. Just be careful and you'll be done in no time...

That code wouldn't have anything to do with the climate control panel as it is a "evaporative emission control system malfunction"

LOL... I know that just wondering if that is the one where you tighten the gas cap and it goes away???? I did that but I forgot to check the ruber "O" ring seal. Since the car isn't here right now I went to u-pull-it and got a couple of of them just in case. However the way it usually goes is.... that would be the case for most people but in my case it will require disassembly of some part that will require removal of the engine to get to....... and then it will break off and require replacement of the block......... LOL

BTW are there any good repair manuals out there that have all the info for our cars? I have one in a CD form for another car that has EVERYTHING you'd ever want or need to know about that car.

BPA
