Revell 1964 Impala

Heureka!!!

After a long time in hybernation it finally got finished
Some scratches on the front bumper and some other blemishes that's not to obvious, it'll do as is I think.
Ready to compete a month from now and then move over to my father to sit beside the '59 Impala he already got.

Some pictures and here is part of the building process.

Thank you!

I know what you meen, I usually don't leave any of my builds stock so it was kind of nice to just leave one alone for a change. Wheels and a lower stance is the ordinary way to go in my little workshop and that is what's happening to rest of my Impala's.

What a beauty, even in it's original form. How you did the emblem so well I'll never know. Great work, from the foil to the clean interior.

Re: Revell 1964 Impala

Thank's guys!

Emblems are "pre-foiled", then the red paint went on and the emblems where polished/scraped clean. I then used parts of the decals to get the colour right in the easiest way possible. Have tried painting them on earlier cars but thought this was worth a try. So what you see in the picture is actually four small pieces of foil and decals.
Did the same on both bonnet and trunk emblems, pre-foil and decals afterwards.
