Odyssey Manual Passenger door stuck

We have a 2001 Odyssey and the passenger door (manual) get stuck. Typically, in the mornings, we have to push out the door from insde. Is anybody having same problem? Please help.

Try pulling on the top of the door a bit. the part that curves towards the roof. If you put your fingers there and then pull the handle and it opens i would replace the seals up there on the body.

What happens is they creat a suction affect and hold the door. Honda came out with updated ones about 2 years ago.

well, i having the same problem (2001) it looks like is just a false contac, in another trread some body recomended, just clean the contacts, get a spray for auto parts (thet know) some kind of cleanear, etc, check the tracks,...

A cleaner works but there is a pad availible from the autoparts store called scotch brite. it comes in grits but its more like a steel wool. I would use the fine pad and just clean the contacts. Using the spray may be a problem because the contacts seal themselves with a foam that goes arounf the switches. It may melt it or damage the plastic casing if its harsh enough.

sorry, i thougt pamya was talking about the power door.
any way, your advice louruner came just on time, i was about to use the spray thing, i think the scotch brite make more sense to solve the problem with the power door.

I am having a problem w/ my drivers side door:wont open from inside or out. Took off door handle and forced my arm through but could feel nothing wrong. Tight spot and couldn't see what i was doing,but felt parts need help and don't want dealer to look i havent' heard anything good about them.
