If you do have the diagram, please send it. Check your local junk yards to see if you can find a PCM. At the top of the first page of your thread is a link to "Ask a Ford Mechanic Now". You could ask there what the voltage should be on the pin that is showing 6.5V. It looks like it is supposed to be a monitoring input to the PCM but you could ask if that is what it is, also.

According to the chart you sent me there should only be 0.1V on pin 4 when the fan is off. It sounds like a PCM problem which is why I asked you to try another one. I still don't know what that pin is for and unless you are willing to buy the manual I told you about or ask on the other website or dealer what it is for, I can't tell you if it is the PCM or not. Again, check the wires that used to go to the air conditioner to be sure they aren't connected to or shorting against something they shouldn't be.

Where is that darned 10 AMP fuse from the PCM? I have the low speed issue also. High speed is fine. I need to fix my daughters t bird. 97,4.6; I have a 95 EVTM Manual, it shows C119 as the 10 amp inline fuse, all i can see on the component diagram 151-3 is a thing that says inline resistor by the ccrm or ircm. I already changed the fan a year ago, gonna check the low speed winding resistance and see if I can hotwire low in. WOndering where that 10 A fuse is on a 97? by the PCM?

Well I got her going again, coolant temp sensor and reconnected fan and some other stuff but still had 8 ohms to ground from fan ground. seemed kind of high. Thanks

Welcome to the forum s22comet63. You need the EVTM for a 97 because the 95 is wired differently. The 97 doesn't have the 10A fuse. I take it you have the semi-automatic temp control (SATC). This has a 30A fuse supplying the Blower Motor Speed Controller to which the blower motor is connected.
