Have an 02 Suburban with 5.3 and 4L60E K1500 with 188,000 miles. Both running strong! Using Amsoil in engine and transmission. Getting ready to change trans. fluid for the second time. Using Amsoil in front and rear ends and no problems whatsoever. So far, I am very satisfied with Amsoil. Not sure if Amsoil is letting me get this kind of performance out of my truck, or this is normal expectations.

got up to 167K on my 98 S-10 2.2L 5spd.....then sadly she was totaled in a wreck. now have an 05 GMC 1500, 5.3L, 36K, and so far so good!

2000 silverado Z71...everything orig except fuel pump, water pump, rotors, front end had to be rebuilt....engine, tranny and differential (3.73) has 299k+...daughter still drives daily..no knocks, no smoke, beginning to leak a wee bit of oil at rear seal (quart about 1500-2000 miles)...nope, not ready to rebuild yet...gunning for 500k out of this truck

01hd, original motor, trans(as far as i know), drivetrain, with 137,000. since i had truck replaced left front wheel bearing, rear rotors, pads, calipers, seals, right rear wheel bearing, alternator and fuel pump. i got the truck at 93,000.

93 chevy WT 4.3 auto 265,000 so far so good.

2001 5.3 232 thousand with water pump done at 130 thousand. Alternator @ 160k. other than that no problems. does have piston slap and now needs a head gasket. About to do the job myself and will replace lifters at the same time.

1995 Suburban K1500 1/2ton/4wd with 211,000 miles on the original engine/transmission. The burb has always used a quart of oil every 1500 miles. Changed oil regularly every 3000-3500 miles. Never, not once, changed the tranny fluid. Still running on the original fuel pump/sending unit, too.

The alternator was rebuilt at 100k miles. At 150k, I did some PM work.... timing chain, water pump, hoses, belts, etc. At 200k, I did front end work except for the ball joints.

The tail pipe has been replaced 3 times........also had to replace the hvac control module somewhere along the way.

1995 Suburban is the best of the series..........without some of the bugs in later years....Still looks great as well!
