brake lights

1999 monte carlo, No brake lights, trying to pull the steering wheel, Does any body the bolt size that you use with wheel puller? is it S.A.E. or Metric ?
then does any body have an idea of what to look for to fix ?

Pretty sure they're 5/16" USS and the multi-function switch is most likely to blame. Available aftermarket. Once wheel is removed, SIR clock-spring is retained with snap ring, as is wheel lock 'collar'. The wheel lock collar will require use of a special tool to depress the spring to access the retainer ring for removal. Once you have that and the plastic horn contact/cancel collar out of the way, you're looking at the switch.
