Re: Air Cooled - Porsche RSR 1994 Le Mans

Thanks Raikkobin! You know what, I think I will hit you up with some questions actually! I've done exhaust carriers btw, they're not standard, kinda funky looking things, will show next update. The only other detail I really want to add here is the oil line that runs from the case, then goes over the transmission, then up the other side of the engine ... to where??? I'm just gonna drill a hole somewhere and disappear it into that, but I wish I could find a pic showing its proper run. Do you know what I mean? lol...

Re: Air Cooled - Porsche RSR 1994 Le Mans

Hi, sorry for the tardy reply. My notifications for this article weren't coming in. To answer your question, it goes to an oil tank on the backside of the pass side cylinder head. I'll see if I can dig a picture up for you. It is a kidney shaped housing with a prominent seam down the middle. There is a Hex headed drain on the bottom of it. 19mm Bolt on the real thing. This is on a stock car though, racing models rarely use the factory dry-sump tank.
