Re: 1950 Chevy Street Truck

Finnaly opdate...

The rims are perfect for this car, good choice. Looks just like one of the cars from Chip Foose. Should look great in silver with red pinstripes...

Mrak....Thank you, this is the nicest complement that anyone could give me. I say this because I am a big hot rodding fan and I have always wanted to do it professionally. To tell me that this could be as nice as a Foose design leaves me speechless because he is my biggest idol. So thank you once again for this big complement.

Aah !! Spidey, you know I'm tagging along on this one...
LOVE the choice on wheels mate....I've been and checked them on SP website...I can see I'm going to need some of those..

And hey, don't worry if it takes time cause you don't get much chance to work on it.....GREATNESS takes time..

Bookmarked !
I'll just hang around waiting....when you're ready mate.

Looking good, it's obvious that you've put a lot of effort in to making it sit straight. I like the wheels.

Re: 1950 Chevy Street Truck

Hey everyone,
So who here still remembers this build of mine?
Lol, yes I am still working on this one here and there. Not much of an update to give you guys but something none the less....
Well for starters, I decided to go with another engine. Its still a Big Block Chevy with all the same goodies, except this one has nicer details and fits a little better in the engine bay. I also finished scratch building my new valve covers and made a mold of them. Now I know that they look a little ruff, these were just some samples that I made to see how they will work out. The finished ones will look better...

I have also FINALLY gotten the cab to the point that I can spray primer on it. If all goes well, only a little more work on that and the cab will be ready for paint!!! :-P Once thats ready, I will start work on the bed though....

Well there you have it, just a little blast from the past. Hopefully I will be able to give closer timed updates in the future....
