Hello, I own a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, it has 239,000 miles. I bought it 4 years ago for only $375. For about the past year it has burning alot of oil, about 2 quarts a week, and it also leaks a little bit of oil too. And it started smoking blue smoke about 3 months ago. Does that mean the engine is going to go soon? What does is mean when it smokes blue smoke out of the tail pipes? I love driving it, whenever some one gets on my ass, I step it down and cover there car in blue smoke, then they stay behind!

But one time I was driving and the car behind me noticed the car was smoking, they called the police and told them my car was on fire!

When ever I Stop at a stop sign and go it smokes, not all the time but the majority of the time, after a couple seconds it doesn't smoke anymore. And also I noticed that when I am accelerating, when it is shifting from 2nd to 3rd then 3rd to 4th, the car shakes, then after it shifts, the shaking goes away. This car has been a great car to me, It has never left me stranded it never needed any repairs. I never thought it would have lasted this long! Sure it might be a little rusty on the fenders and a big dent in the back fender. And for a big car I am really surprised at the fuel econcomy I get. I get on average around 25 miles per gallon highway driving! This car still has a lot of pep! I am very proud of this car. So if someone can help me with my question, that would be great.
