02 Olds Intrigue driver door electrical panel
When replacing power window motor and regulation, the electrical switch panel pad plastic tabs that hold it tight was broken off.
Anyway to repair? It is loose and does not lock inplace |

Once you break those tabs there's not much that can be done. You can either glue it down or buy a new panel...

Re: 02 Olds Intrigue driver door electrical panel
I had a similar problem. I took a small piece of lightweight sheet metal and fabbed a clip out of that, attaching it to the trim with a very short sheet metal screw. No need to glue it on, and it has lasted without problems for over 100 K miles. Cheap fix, and no one knows but me!

Re: 02 Olds Intrigue driver door electrical panel
I did the same thing, glued mine back on and forgot about it....that is until I had some bodywork done after an accident, they had to remove the panel to remove the door panel...took some of the door panel material with it that time.
The sheet metal idea sounds good, but ive gotten used to the floppy panel myself. It fits right in with my constant-on Security light, rattles, squeaks, clunks, and various other quirks. But hey, it starts when I turn the key, and beats walkin.
