Re: Possible to have no exhaust?
a turbo provides all the backpressure an engine could need, after the turbo, you want as little backpressure as possible so the turbo spools quickly. On an NA, you will lose torque if you dont have enough backpressure, but prettymuch any exhaust, even a strait pipe, will give you enough.
Vert still gets on from time to time...he's been busy. Musashi sold his 3k, bought a GTO (pontiac). Yogs...no idea. But he should sell me his spyder if he doesn't like it anymore |

Re: Possible to have no exhaust?
depends on the turbo size. but with no downpipe, and stock turbos, it's not going to be any faster. It will actually be slower, and more annoying sounding.

Re: Possible to have no exhaust?
that 7 second evo that nick zervos built just had a 2.5" pipe going off the gate and a 4" pipe going straight off the exhaust side of the turbo going out in front of the wheel. totally sick
