Question Replace Mirror From 94 to 96

Hi guys!!
It's been a while since i posted a message on here, cause my car runs so good!!
I've got a 94 Ultra that has every concievable option for the year(including heated seats, rare)
I got an inside rear view mirror at the boneyard today for $3.00 and I only got it because it has a compass as well as the auto dim feature.
I took the connector as well but when i got home I noticed that while the new mirror has coloured wires the original does not.
The new mirror also has only one connector(7 pins,2 not used)
The original mirror has a 3 pin and a 2 pin connector seperate from each other.
As well the original connectors are not colour coded, they are all black!!
I even took the mirror apart to see if i could trace the wires with no success.
I wonder if anyone has tried to change over on of these before.
The new mirror is from a 96 Ninety-Eight and my car is a 94.
Any help with the wiring would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,Brian.

Re: Replace Mirror From 94 to 96

Got it figured out!!
Each wire has a number in the plug.
Just match them up and your good to go.
Works great and there's no excuse for getting lost now.
