Did you try to start it with the shifter on neutral or in moving it to every range to see if something happen? The TRS (transmission range sensor) is a regular issue on this model.

Just throwing out what I'm thinking. If I'm wrong - be kind. ;-)
What about a bad starter or a (partially/mostly) drained battery? Is a no-crank condition indicative of a damaged key chip? Could that also be causing a no-crank condition? |
