about 2 weeks aog i bought a 95 honda civic lx. has a racing tranny, cold air intake, and bigger low profile 17 inch rims
but about a week later one of the tires popped... when we took it off it had been rubbing on the inside.. what im wonderin is if i should raise the car up.. mind i only paid 900 for it only other thing i can think of is gettin different rims for it but it doesnt have the origignal civic rotor's and calipers... |

Re: my 95 civic lx
Can you roll the fenders? If not, then definitely raise the car a little.

Re: my 95 civic lx
also it doesnt have the honda stock rotors and calipers... the guy we bought it form said the brakes were form a 1995 acura integra gsr.. so what if i went and got integera gsr rims
only thing is the front end is lowered .. it only rubbed on the front end the back end was fine.. we also went and asked a mechanic he said if they are adjustable shock then it wouldnt cost us anything to rase it back up |

Re: my 95 civic lx
you heed to raise the front up defenetly. i have 18's on my lx and they ruubbed on the inside. i had to raise it back up almost a inch.

Re: my 95 civic lx
17s are a little big for a lowered civic
