I have a 2002 1.8T automatic GTI with just over 50,000 miles. Love the car and was having no problems, was running great until it wasn't. I thought the battery died, all I got was clicking when I tried to start. My husband came out to get me and jump the car and it seems the problem got worse. The car turned over and immediately died. Tried a couple more times, even arguing with my husband that I never took my foot off of the gas. He tried and the same thing happened. It's been towed to the local VW dealership and I am terrified of what this will cost. Any insight before I get the call from them is greatly appreciated. I really would like to have an idea of what the problem could be.
