Hello,
Does anyone know the torque specs. for the transmission pan gasket on a 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. This car has the 3.8 liter supercharged engine. From what I gather the gasket is a reusable gasket if removed carefully, I think there should be a torque setting for re-assembly. Thanks ellis479 |

Re: 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra Transmission
How many miles do you have? You have the 4T65E - HD autotransaxle, GM RPO code MN7.
10 lb-ft or 120 in-lb for the 20 pan bolts. Be sure to use low-med strength threadlocker on the bolt threads. The stock pre-formed pan gasket is reuseable but you are better off replacing it but stick with the GM OE gasket.
